Since our last newsletter students have participated in a week long swimming program culminating in the swimming carnival/celebration last Monday. The students learnt and progressed in their water familiarisation and stroke development throughout the week. We are very thankful to Krystie Reynolds, Carmen Holmes and Juanita Rubens for the leadership, guidance and skills in developing these essential skills for our students. 

The swimming carnival was well attended by the Year 3-6 students and all students were able to participate at their ability level. The P-2 students joined us for a fun swim afternoon. The swimming carnival was won by the rogers house. A big congratulations to each and every student participated to the best of their ability.  

A team has been chosen to represent St Joseph's in the North West swimming carnival held today. We know that they will represent us well.
