General Information

Attendance

Parents are asked to notify the school office, either by phone (by 9:15am) or note, if a student is absent from arriving late to school. Students are not to leave the school premises during the school day unless accompanied by a responsible adult with a parent or guardian's permission. Students leaving for necessary appointments must be collected from their classroom by the office staff. They must report to the school office before departure and on return. If the collecting adult is not the student's parent or guardian the class teacher must be notified in advance.

Assemblies

Assemblies are held in the school hall fortnightly. Assemblies allow all classes to showcase class learning: Dates for assemblies are advertised in the school newlsetter and all parents, families and friends are invited to attend.

Book Club

Schoolastic Book Club provides parents with an opportunity to purchase good-quality books at reasonable prices. Book club is sent home throughout the school year.

Canteen

Currently the canteen is convened by the school Parents & Friends and is open Mondays and Thursdays. A menu is available from the School Office.

Care for Property

All personel property should be clearly named.

Late Arrivals

If a student arrives later than 8.50am, he/she or the parent are required to sign in at the School Office.

Lost Property

Any items found are place in the lost property bin inside the sports hall. Unnamed and unclaimed lost property will be given to the uniform shop at the end of each term.

Library

The well resourced library caters for classes, allows students to borrow a variety of reading material and is an invaluable resource for student learning.
